BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse is one of my favorite restaurants to enjoy with family, on a date with hubby or with friends. It has a great sports bar area, huge menu of delicious food and drinks and a fun ambiance.
BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse
I had the opportunity to attend a Los Angeles Mommy Blogger Tribe event at BJ’s restaurant in Woodland Hills. (Another reason I love BJ’s, they have several locations). Learning from a great group of ladies, we enjoyed the amazing food at BJ’s.
I started out with a Sparkling Sangria. It was nice a subtle drink. This mama can’t handle alcohol the way I used to. I’m more into to the sparkling alcoholic drinks now. I must say this was really good. Every drink they make in house, all fresh. I could see and eat the fresh fruit in my sangria. The rest of the ladies had Ultimate Patron Margarita, Pink Cadillac, Strawberry Mojito and a Taster Set of BJ's Beers: Lightswitch Lager, Blonde, Hefeweizen and Oasis
We then moved into our appetizers, that we all shared. We started with loaded Nacho with Tri Tip. It consisted of Crispy corn tortilla chips with housemade Sriracha queso, melted Jack and Cheddar blend. Topped with housemade fresh guacamole , sour cream, for fire roasted salsa, pico de gallo and jalapenos. Then we moved on to Best Beginnings Appetizer Combo, a Spinach and Artichoke dip, Mozzarella sticks, Avocado Eggrolls, Sriracha wings (Root Beer Glaze).
After our appetizers we had a family style brunch. We shared all the different meals. We had the following:
Kale Brussel Salad ~ Baby kale with roasted brussels sprouts, crispy romaine, chopped red onions, fresh blueberries, sweet red grapes, dried cranberries with goat cheese crumbles, chopped cucumbers, candied pecans, toasted pepitas with a Strawberry Vinaigrette
NEW ENLIGHTENED Blackened Chicken Zucchini ~ Blackened chicken breast, zucchini noodles, red onions, fire roasted red peppers with a creamy alfredo and San Marzano marinara sauce, sprinkled with green onions and parmesan cheese
NEW ENLIGHTENED Lemon Herb Chicken and Asparagus Zucchini Noodles ` Herb roasted chicken breast with asparagus, zucchini noodles, seasoned artichoke hearts with red onions, tomatoes in a creamy lemon herb sauce. Sprinkled with fresh basil and parmesan cheese
Baby Back Pork Ribs ~ A full rack of slow roasted overnight baby back ribs seasoned with Big Poppa Smokers' Sweet Money Champion rub, then slathered with BJ's Peppered BBQ Sauce and a choice of 2 signature sides
NEW Bistro Burger ~ Fire grilled beef patty with applewood smoked bacon with caramelized onions, fresh sweet tomatoes, spinach, pickled red onions, topped with goat cheese crumbles with roasted garlic aioli served on a Parker House bun and served with fries
My Honest Review:
While I have had BJ’s before, it’s always best to have BJ’s in great company. It was such a fun get together. The food and the drinks made is so much better. I enjoyed every bite I took. My ultimate favorite was the burger and ribs. They were awesome. The burger was cooked just right, big and juicy when I bite right in it. The Sangria was on top notch. I tasted every fruit in it.
In my final words, I highly recommend BJ’s especially the one in Woodland Hills as their service was at top par.
